HCU DigitalCity Research Group

The DigitalCity Research Group concentrates on the interface between spatial data modeling, analysis and presentation on one hand and on the various applications in the domain of city planning on the other hand. It focuses on developing smaller prototype projects, publishing respective results and initializing national and international cooperations.

Symposium on Geoinformation for the Coastal Zone

The 3rd Symposium on Geoinformation for the Coastal Zone will take place on Oct. 6 - 7, 2010, at the HCU in Hamburg, followed by a Remote Sensing Workshop of BfG on October 8, 2010.

First Announcement

We invite you to submit an abstract for GeoValue 2010. The workshop will take place in Hamburg on Sept. 30 - Oct. 2 and is addressed to experts in geoinformation, environmental and social sciences, economics, urban planning and spatial data quality.

In cooperation with the g2lab we founded an interdisciplinary group on visualization to discuss specific issues and problems concerning visualization including approaches and methods as well as technology and software.
